It’s Royal Wedding day, the banners are out and the nation is celebrating and i have my own Royal Wedding to Photograph 
, that of Amy & Joe who got married down the road from me at Shobrooke church, Nr Crediton and had their reception in Reed Hall, Exeter. Absolutely the perfect time of the year for Reed Hall as their gardens were out in full bloom, it looked stunning. The atmosphere was electric and a Ball was had by everyone.. I won’t waffle i’ll let you get on and see the photos, hehe
This weekend i was at the lovely Escott Church near Ottery St Mary for the wedding of Francine & Andrew. As you can see from the pictures this was yet another fun filled day, especially with Christian, the best man and his antics . Francine & Andrew brought with them friends and family from as far afield as the south of France & Wales and i have to say how kind it was of Francine’s family to bring us some of their sunshine, if they could just leave some here when they return that would be even better . An amazing day was had by all, well all except for the 30 mins Best Man speech where Andrew was a contestant on a ‘This is your life / Who wants to be a millionaire’ game thought up by the best Man, absolutely brilliant, totally unique and hilarious… well for us..
Cheryl & Gareth’s wedding at Heavitree in Exeter was my last wedding of 2009. Their reception was at nearby Woodbury Park Golf & Country Club and was decorated by Cheryl, her Mum and her Bridesmaids the evening before. It looked amazing and very festive with the warm red theme and candles. The cake was made by Gareth’s mum and WOW, it looked amazing and can imagine it tasted as good as each layer was a different type, fruit, chocolate and 3 others which I’ve frustratingly forgotten… To top off their amazing day Cheryl & Gareth are today heading off on honeymoon to Hong Kong followed by New Zealand. And the second of this weekends weddings was Hayley & Gavin’s wedding at St Margaret’s Church, Topsham followed by their reception at Reed Hall in Exeter. You may recognise them from an earlier blog entry a couple of months back when i did a newborn portrait session of their gorgeous son, Leo. Hayley was so excited when i arrived that she was already in her dress, and we still had 2 hours to go . While there were many fabulous moments of the day i think the highlight for me was when their best man announced, after the first dance, that Gavin still had to complete a dare they made on his stag night. Poor Gavin had to get up and do a dance in front of all the guests but credit to him, he not did only did it but did it with style
