I’m now a Master Photographer – WooHoo!

I recently submitted a panel of 20 wedding photos to the prestigious Master Photographers Association (MPA) which were then assessed by a panel of judges from the Professional Photographic Qualifying Board (PPQB). The PPQB is a joint initiative between the MPA and BIPP. 10 had to be from the same wedding whilst the remaining 10 can come from a selection of weddings. They asses everything from the composition of the photograph through to the control of my lighting and even down to the quality of the photo print itself.
Well I’m pleased to say that I passed and have been accepted into the Association as a Master Photographer and I believe am one of their youngest qualified members in the South West! Hey, I even now have letters after my name – Adrian Downing LMPA.:)A big thanks must also go out to all of my brides of 2008 who helped to make this happen.
