On Saturday i did a family Portrait Photoshoot at Stoke Hill Infant School in Exeter. Although exhausting i really I love doing these, seeing so many happy faces when they see their childrens photos appear on the Laptop during the shoot, and thats before i’ve done any magic in Photoshop! Despite the snow there was a really good turnout, here’s a few of my favs from the day. 
I didn’t have very far to travel for this shoot as Bethan and her family only live down the road from me in Copplestone. Our children are the same age and go to the same school in the village. We did the session in their home getting the kids to clamber all over the furniture. For her oldest we did some more atmospheric shots on the stairs with lighting from just a standard household lamp. I really like the effect, especially in Black & White.
We timed the weather perfectly today and had some really good fun up at Haytor on Dartmoor with Ian & his children. As the whole family love the outdoors and do things such as landboarding, Mountain biking etc it made complete sense to get some photos of them doing what they love. So braving the weather we met up and had some fun. I’ve still got rosy cheeks now and i’ve been talked into having a few landboarding lessons myself with my son at Exmouth in the spring .
Despite being manic at the moment i managed (well, helped the wife & kids) to put our tree up this week. This year we have a black tree with bright white LED Xmas lights on it and credit to the wife it’s looking really nice. Anyway, enough about Xmas or people will think i’m actually enjoying it this year . Yesterday I photographed the Quinn Family who visited me from Exmouth getting some really lovely shots of the 3 of them. Such a lovely family and i have a feeling one little girl is going to get spoiled this Xmas
