No weddings this weekend, kept this one intentionally free as it was my daughters (Courteney) 13th Birthday Party.. As it’s a little of a milestone for her becoming a teenager we decided to throw a disco for her in the local village hall and 2 of her friends who also turned 13 this weekend. Myself and the other parents have been planning this and working towards it for some time.
I in particular have been loving it as it was an excuse for me to buy more toy’s in the form of lighting as i was nominated as DJ for the night 
. Thankfully there was no microphone involved but a playlist consisting of mainly the entire top40, an Apple Laptop, a little lighting i treated myself to and an awesome soundsystem consisting of SubWoofers etc brought down all the way from London by a family friend of Bluebell (one of the other birthday girls).
We also had an amazing cake which was made by a friend, and past bride who’s wedding i photographed, Dawn. This is not a one of, you have to become a fan of her facebook page, she has some amazing creations.. Party balloons and banners were all done by the 3rd birthday girl’s (Rhiannon) mum. Topping the decor off Bluebell’s mum, assisted by her friend Cleo, created some amazing neon artwork for the walls which we lit with UV lights . Here’s some pics from their party
