This weekend i was at the village of Whimple in East Devon for Kathryn & Chris HUGE wedding
.. I say huge as the church was overflowing with their 200+ guests but after spending the whole day with them and their families it’s very easy to see why they have so many close friends.
The ceremony was taken by the vicar of their own church in Exeter and was really lovely, they had a modern twist of hymns all played by their friends in a band, what a difference this made over the usual organ, i’m convinced the roof was lifting during the hymns hehe
.
Following the ceremony i’m thankfully that the good old Met Office located down the road managed to get their forecasts completely wrong again because unlike the torrential rain and thunder we were expecting it was a lovely day with glorious sunshine! Following afternoon tea and cakes the evening celebrations kicked off with a band and followed by a disco, the band were awesome and ensured that the dancefloor was packed, a perfect end to a perfect day
Here’s some teaser photos from their day….
