Collaven Manor | The Wedding of Helen & Neil

Phew, was it HOT this weekend? The hottest of the year apparently to the joy of Helen & Neil who travelled down from Wales with 15 of their closest friends and family and got married at the tranquil Collaven Manor just outside of Okehampton. It was an honour to be part of something so special and intimate, it was such a lovely and perfect day. The detail on Helen’s dress was amazing matched her Karen Milan shoes perefecly. I also loved the colours of the bridesmaids dress, by all accounts the guy’s ties were made of exactly the same material and dyed to match the dresses perfectly…. Congratulations guy’s, have a fab honeymoon :) .

Woodbury Park | The Wedding of Becky & Kevin

This weekend I was back at Woodbury Park Golf & Country Club for the wedding of Becky & Kevin. I’ve been feeling the build up to this wedding for a while now as Becky is a friends of my wife, Suez. Suez has been quite excited at not only having an excuse for a new pair of shoes and outfit but also for the evening party with her friends and work colleagues. This made it slightly different for me as while i finished ‘working’ after the first dance i stayed on with my wife long into the evenings celebrations which was really nice as this is the part i rarely get to witness. The evening party was much the same as the day’s celebrations – perfect. Becky’s uncle not only did the disco but also packed the dancefloor with his singing, fantastic.  Ooo, i forgot to mention it was also Kevin’s 30th Birthday as well, i don’t think he could have asked for a better present :) , Here’s some piccies…

Bovey Castle | The Wedding of Gemma & Adam

This weekend i was just down the road in the heart of Dartmoor at the stunning Bovey Castle for the wedding of Gemma & Adam. With the sun shining (despite the met office forecasting rain all week) and the gardens in full bloom the day couldn’t have been any more perfect for Gemma & Adam. The ceremony itself was in Bovey Tracey Church but the rest of the wedding was at Bovey Castle itself. I also had the pleasure of working with Captured Moments for the first time as they were there recording the day on video. It can be difficult for both us photographers and the video guy’s at times trying to stay out of each other’s way while still recording every moment of the day but i have to say these guys were fantastic and a pleasure to work with. Rather than me waffle on I’m sure you just want to see their pictures so here you go, thanks guys, have a fab honeymoon in Mauritius :)

Pendennis Castle, Falmouth | The Wedding of Pippa & Ty

My second wedding this weekend was Pippa & Ty’s who were married at one of my favourite venues in Cornwall, the stunning Pendennis Castle in Falmouth. Pippa looked absolutely amazing in her Caroline Castiglanio dress as of course did Ty and the boys in their suits :) Looking outside now i can appreciate how lucky they were with the weather, it was so hot even the cake stared to melt, typically it’s now totally bucketing it down with rain as i type this :( . The light on the castle as the evening drew in was simply stunning.
Pippa also had a family friend their video’ing their wedding, like myself he’s ex BBC with the last wedding he recorded being Princess Diana’s!… I can only imagine what the results are going to look like, stunning… Following the ceremony the guests were greeting with Cornish Pasties all round and also had a caricature artist creating fantastic caricatures of each of the guests, brilliant :)
