Elaine & Steve’s Wedding at the Webbington Hotel, Somerset

The second of this weekends wedding was Elaine & Steve’s up at the Webbington Hotel & Spa in Somerset, not only for me but also for Justine from Finishing Touch Make up and Beauty. Justine is one of my favorite makeup artists to work with & does an amazing job. Topping it all of not only do we get to do the same 2 weddings on the same weekend but the sun was out in full yet again! :)
Now, sometimes i think our paths in life are already mapped out for us and couples like Elaine & Steve are prime examples. They are both so perfect for one another but had neither of them decided to go on holiday to Gran Canaria all those years back they would never of met, it’s like they were meant to go there and meet :) .
A fabulous day with family from both sides travelling up from Cornwall and across from London. Thanks guy’s for sharing your day with me, have a fab honeymoon in the Maldives, looking forward to seeing the photos when you get back… even if they’re taken with a Nikon! :)

Rachel & Joel’s Wedding at Heavitree in Exeter & Woodbury Park

Friday saw the first of 2 weddings this weekend and Woohoo, the sun was out! The first being Rachel & Joel who got married at the All Angels Church in Heavitree, Exeter followed by their reception at Woodbury Park Golf  & Country Club bringing together their Uni friends and families from across the country. Rachel’s dress was beautiful and she looked amazing while Joel looked quite dapper himself :) . Topping of a great day and kicking off the evening was a Jazz & Swing band – High Society.  Congratulations guy’s, Thanks for asking me to share and record your day with you, hope you both have a wonderful honeymoon in Paris.

Kelly & Jesse’s Wedding at Yealmpton, Plymouth.

Yesterday I had the honour of photographing Kelly & Jesse Wedding at St Bartholomews Church in Yealmpton, Nr Plymouth followed by their reception at The minors Arms at Hemerdon. The day started off at Envy Hair Design in Plymstock where hairdressers Verity & Hayley did an amazing job. Then back to Kelly’s for the remainder of the bridal preparations before a extremely memorial journey to the church! I’ll say no more there :) .
Kelly works as a teacher at Yealmpton Primary School and it was lovely to see the children from her class waiting for her at the church. I was also joined at the church with Andrew from Memories on Film who is a pleasure to work with and does some amazing stuff.
Unfortunately Kelly & Jesse are having to put their honeymoon on hold for a short while as Jesse is an Officer in the Army and was put on 48 hour notice to go to Afghanistan earlier this week. While I know she’s immensely proud it’s been a stress time for Kelly. Still, thankfully he was still here for his wedding and the day was perfect :) . Thanks for allowing me to be part of your day and my thought and prayers are with you both, especially during the next few months.
