Clare & Colin’s Wedding at Northcote Manor, North Devon.

On Sunday I had the enormous pleasure of being the photographer for Clare & Colin’s wedding at the beautiful Northcote Manor at Umberleigh, North Devon. It was a lovely close and intimate affair with friends and family travelling from as far afield as Manchester. To the delight of the children Santa popped down from the North Pole bringing with him a sack full of pressies! The evening was topped of with a disco and an awesome Michael Buble impersonator.
Here’s some of my favourites from the wedding with a slideshow at the end, I have a real passion for black & whites photos at the moment but they’re all available in colour as well.

Hannah & Richard’s Wedding at Pendennis Castle, Falmouth.

On Friday i was down in Cornwall photographing the wedding of Hannah & Richard at the spectacular Pendennis Castle in Falmouth. Hannah looked absolutely stunning in her Ian-Stuart dress as did the boy’s of course :) . It was quite a late wedding but the weather and light was kind to us and even gave us a stunning sunset while the guests walked down from the castle for their meal. Here are a couple of my favorites from the day followed with a slideshow at the end, click the play button to view.

The Phillips Family Portrait

I didn’t have very far to travel for this shoot as Bethan and her family only live down the road from me in Copplestone. Our children are the same age and go to the same school in the village. We did the session in their home getting the kids to clamber all over the furniture. For her oldest we did some more atmospheric shots on the stairs with lighting from just a standard household lamp. I really like the effect, especially in Black & White.

The Thompson Family Portrait on Dartmoor

We timed the weather perfectly today and had some really good fun up at Haytor on Dartmoor with Ian & his children. As the whole family love the outdoors and do things such as landboarding, Mountain biking etc it made complete sense to get some photos of them doing what they love. So braving the weather we met up and had some fun. I’ve still got rosy cheeks now and i’ve been talked into having a few landboarding lessons myself with my son at Exmouth in the spring :-) .
